At the Australian War Memorial in Canberra commemorating the 100th year anniversary of Armistice 62,000 hand knitted poppies have been planted as a mark of tribute to the 62,000 men and women who did not return to their families during WW1.  Working with the 5000 Poppies project I have designed this moving tribute which opened to the public on Friday 5th October and will remain open until Remembrance Day 12th November 2018.
